The Nelson House Medicine Lodge (NHML) is located in Nelson House Manitoba, some 780 km north of Winnipeg, Manitoba. It is set on the shores of the beautiful Three Point Lake and hosts individuals impacted by alcohol and drugs seeking to improve their life circumstances. The NHML is a modern, healthful environment boasting certified counselling services guided by Western and Traditional Cree Indigenous knowledge, practise and processes. We offer an eight (8) week gender-based, non-medical residential experience targeting Indigenous adults from Northern Manitoba and across Canada. We have been in existence for twenty-five (25) years and have recently concluded a $2.5M upgrade to our facility.
